   This is on 30 years of pulp fiction and why its still relevant -atleast for tamil movie fans and film Makers as QT is one of the most influenced director ever(Karthik Subburaj. Lokesh Kanagaran etc). QT known for Old content stylised content told in modernised entertained way and with his knowledge on cinema bank literaturised cinema.Creating curiosity interest on what happened to characters by his crazy incidents n ppl. He only borrows high sharp points on various cinemas and reverses plus distorts it. His sense of drama is more like write JD Salinger, has used 250 plus f words. QT tells thick content not seriously but just make it interesting with the liveliness of characters and fiction effect only on few spots like bullet vanishing, soul briefcase, watch history. ON Reading Journals and Magazines - Reading Kumudham,anadha vikatan,tamil magazines is bad for intellectual health,but good for emotional health?

I always believed exposure makes a difference,atleast it stands as a starting point.How do we get exposure,thats a big question and how to make most of it is another.Medium like TV,newspapers,magazines,a new set of people with different background and many more are the sources of exposure.Atleast to certain extent,all childrens and teenagers,even the 2010 teenagers are of in limited zone and not able to open their wings.When i was young i was provided minimum of exposure like TV,The Hindu(used to stare the pictures,nothing more,the content and language is formed of strong society background and intellectuals) and magazine like Kumudam,Anandha Vikatan(Used to purchase them in Thursday nights KUMUDAM-Rs.2.25 and Anandha Vikatan-Rs.3.50 in 90s).        Reading is a habit cultivated by seeing the parents and mine is no different too.As these 2 magazines at one point started to excite me(since its not intellectuallly demanding and no other outlet or ...

ON Kamal Haasan's Anbe Sivam(2003) Tamil movie ~ The theme of humanity on Movie/art at its best

This is one of the movies i missed during it's release like many,due to the feeling that this movie won't be interesting and entertainment factor will be less(lot of downside info like reportedly 6+ crores loss for producers at 2003 and also director didn't take salary and infact the latter director capped Sundar.C hinted that Kamal made this movie as an influence and to satisfy his intellectual associate. Indeed was in development hell briefly with Priyadarshan been replaced and also the heroine i guess) .Finally i saw this movie and was shocked to know that an Indian feature film has good quality without any artificial entertainment.To my knowledge the theme of humanity i first saw was on the 1940 feature film "The great dictator",Schlinder's List and many great movies.But this movie was striking direct on it's theme with it's relevant plot.
